چکیده

We generalize an approach recently introduced to study arbitrary correla-tors of spectral determinants in quantum chaotic systems with broken T-invariance. The utility of this method for obtaining generating functions for a variety of universal correlators is illustrated with several applications.

Characterization of Quantum Chaos by the Autocorrelation Function of Spectral Determinants

The autocorrelation function of spectral determinants is proposed as a convenient tool for the characterization of spectral statistics in general, and for the study of the intimate link between quantum chaos and random matrix theory, in particular. For this purpose, the correlation functions of spectral determinants are evaluated for various random matrix ensembles, and are compared with the co...

Wavefunctions, Green’s functions and expectation values in terms of spectral determinants

We derive semiclassical approximations for wavefunctions, Green’s functions and expectation values for classically chaotic quantum systems. Our method consists of applying singular and regular perturbations to quantum Hamiltonians. The wavefunctions, Green’s functions and expectation values of the unperturbed Hamiltonian are expressed in terms of the spectral determinant of the perturbed Hamilt...

Prepared for submission to JHEP Fractional Statistics and the Butterfly Effect

Fractional statistics and quantum chaos are both phenomena associated with the non-local storage of quantum information. In this article, we point out a connection between the butterfly effect in (1+1)-dimensional rational conformal field theories and fractional statistics in (2+1)-dimensional topologically ordered states. This connection comes from the characterization of the butterfly effect ...

Investigation of strong force influence on behavior of nuclear energy levels in Calcium and Titanium isotopes: Based on quantum chaos theory

The atomic nucleus is a complex many-body system that consists of two types of fermion (neutron and proton). They are in the strong interaction. The statistical properties of energy levels and influence of strong force between these fermions are well described by random matrix theory. Resonance of energy levels depends on the Hamiltonian symmetry placed in one of the GOE, GUE and GSE ensembles ...

Correlation Functions in the XXO Heisenberg Chain and their Relations with Spectral Shapes

The spectral shape of one dimensional systems (describing for instance the behaviour of Frenkel excitons) is approached through the exactly solvable model of XXO Heisenberg quantum spin chain in a transverse magnetic field. Some results for finite size chains concerning 2N-point correlators are presented in details. In particular the finite lattice, finite temperature 2-point correlators are ex...
